Learn to Swim Lessons

Students develop a natural breathing pattern and begin to develop freestyle. Students will progress with backstroke skills. Freestyle and backstroke skills are developed over short distances to ensure good technique. Breaststroke is introduced.

This swimming lessons focus on proper technique of freestyle and backstroke, body positioning, arm and leg movements, and breathing patterns. Chris Drapes a certified swimming instructor provide personalized instruction and feedback to help you improve your strokes and reach your swimming goals.

The Goals

  • Develop proper technique, body positioning, arm and leg movements, and breathing patterns
  • Develop efficient and effective strokes, build endurance, and ultimately swim freestyle with confidence and proficiency
  • Learn the skills and knowledge necessary to swim freestyle and backstroke comfortably and efficiently for fitness, recreation, or competition
  • Learn to swim backstroke efficiently and effectively, with proper body alignment, arm movements, leg kicks, and head placement
